When we hear the word “System” sometime we think of An Organized Society or Social Situation Regarded as Stultifying or Oppressive—The Establishment. We also think of the plans a friend has to win at a casino in Atlantic City or Los Vegas, or the plan a Scammer uses to trick people or businesses out of their money.
Most of us are familiar with and use computer systems and just about everyone uses the phone system. There are Traffic Management Systems and Package Delivery Systems such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx, and many others. There are also various financial systems such as the NASDAQ, NYSE, NIKKEI Stock Market, Banking Systems, etc…, we all have and know of our nervous system, circulatory system and respiratory system.
We use and live within various systems everyday. A scissor is a system of cutting paper. We ride an elevator system to and from our apartment and to get to our office at work. The buildings that house these elevators are also Systems and they are also a part of a larger system called a city or town.
A System is an assemblage of substances that is in or tends to equilibrium; a regularly interacting or interdependent group of items forming a unified whole; a group of related natural objects or forces; a group of body organs that together perform one or more vital functions; a group of devices or artificial objects; an organization forming a network for distributing something or serving a common purpose; a group of interacting bodies under the influence of related forces; a body considered as a functional unit.
Any two or more, working together to complete a particular task and/or toward an outcome is a system.
All Systems are, in fact, Systems of Systems of Lesser and Greater Systems.
In the Systems Development and Integration Center section of Synergistic Life, as with the other Science and Technology section we will dive deep into the broad depth and scope of Systems Development, Management and Integration, with the goal of simplifying the complexity of system and their constituents for both the uninitiated and the adept, the young and mature, the experienced and inexperienced, the professional and the non-professional, the executive and the employee.
The Information you will find at Synergisticlife.com is interconnected and interrelated. Some topics are in more than one section and most section span a variety of topics. It is to be this way as with life and living. Everything in life interconnects and interacts with everything else. Nothing can truly be learned or understood as it’s self alone, but only as an amalgamate of everything else and the whole.
